SUMMARY:420PEOPLE: 42+PEOPLE: WHERE
DESCRIPTION:Projekt 42+PEOPLE souboru současného tance 420PEOPLE oslavuje mezigenerační dialog tanečníků. Přináší jedinečný a zároveň intimní pohled na vrchol taneční kariéry interpretů po 42 letech. V duetu WHERE v rámci projektu 42+PEOPLE\, který propojuje všechny hodnoty současného tance\, se představí dvojice českých významných tanečníků: Helena Arenbergerová & Václav Kuneš. Helena Arenbergerová získala za svou sólovou roli v tomto představení hlavní Cenu Thálie 2023 za ženský výkon v kategorii Tanec. \n„Naše choreografické spojení nepřináší společný příběh\, ale rozehrává intimitu každého z nás v ryze osobní taneční výpovědi. Bez klišé. Bez nutných anotací. Přesto však evokuje velmi známý renesanční obraz plný neuchopitelného napětí mezi stabilními i rozestřenými životy\, napětí v blízkosti dvou cizích lidí… A stále hmatatelnější skrze současný tanec\,” říká Václav Kuneš\, choreograf\, tanečník a umělecký ředitel souboru 420PEOPLE. \nChoreografie: Václav Kuneš & Helena ArenbergerováDramaturgie: Lucie NěmečkováObsazení: Václav Kuneš & Helena ArenbergerováHudební kompilace: Exhausted Modern & další interpretiHudební supervize: Pierre UrbanKostýmy: Olo KřížováScénografie: Lucia ŠkandíkováLight design: Jan MlčochProdukce: Anna Borovská\, Marta Lajnerová\, David Borovský\, Marek FlachsFotografie (poster): Adéla HavelkováFotografie (show): Vojtěch BrtnickýTrailer: Pavel Marek\, Tomáš VlčekPremiéra: 19. listopad 2022\, Studio Maiselovka\, Maiselova 25/4\, Prague 1

SUMMARY:The Hour of the Star by Clarice Lispector
DESCRIPTION:Narrated by the cosmopolitan Rodrigo S.M.\, this brief\, strange\, and haunting tale is the story of Macabéa\, one of life’s unfortunates. Living in the slums of Rio de Janeiro and eking out a poor living as a typist\, Macabéa loves movies\, Coca-Cola\, and her rat of a boyfriend; she would like to be like Marilyn Monroe\, but she is ugly\, underfed\, sickly\, and unloved. Rodrigo recoils from her wretchedness\, and yet he cannot avoid realization that for all her outward misery\, Macabéa is inwardly free. She doesn’t seem to know how unhappy she should be. Lispector employs her pathetic heroine against her urbane\, empty narrator–edge of despair to edge of despair–and\, working them like a pair of scissors\, she cuts away the reader’s preconceived notions about poverty\, identity\, love\, and the art of fiction.
