DESCRIPTION:💫Description: \nRoots of contact improvisation is a dance course for those who want to practice the basics this dance form\, enrich their physical skills and learn the context of the practice. \nWe will provide technical exercises from ground to standing level\, training ways of falling and rising to flying… We’ll combine somatic as well as acrobatic approaches. Also\, we will study the context of the practice (offering readings\, videos and other documentation). \n“Contact Improvisation is an evolving system of movement initiated in 1972 by American choreographer Steve Paxton. The improvised dance form is based on the communication between two moving bodies that are in physical contact and their combined relationship to the physical laws that govern their motion—gravity\, momentum\, inertia. The body\, in order to open to these sensations\, learns to release excess muscular tension and abandon a certain quality of willfulness to experience the natural flow of movement. DESCRIPTION:Join us every Thursday for a relaxed and welcoming life drawing session\, a space to slow down\, observe\, and connect through drawing. \nThis is a friendly\, low-pressure gathering open to all levels\, from complete beginners to experienced artists. Whether you’re looking to improve your skills\, rebuild a creative habit\, or simply spend a mindful evening doing something different\, you’re very welcome. \nEach session includes a series of short warm-up poses\, gradually building into longer poses\, giving you space to explore gesture\, proportion\, and expression at your own pace. We’ll take a short break halfway through to rest and reset. \nWe also work with professional life models\, and the atmosphere is always respectful\, calm\, and supportive — the focus is on creating a safe environment for both artists and models. \n• Bring your own drawing materials\n• Duration: 18:00 – 20:00\n• Contribution: 250 CZK (used to fairly compensate the model) \nWe’re slowly building a small creative community here in Prague\, and it would be lovely to have you join us. Průkopníci alternativního hip hopu\, kteří na začátku 90. let úplně rozbili představu o tom\, jak může rap znít a o čem může být\, vystoupí 17. září v Lucerna Music Baru. \nVe chvíli\, kdy mainstreamovému hip hopu dominovala agresivita a gangsterská estetika\, přišli Arrested Development s úplně jinou energií – mixem rapu\, soulu\, funku\, gospelu a afrocentrických vlivů\, který místo machrování řešil identitu\, spiritualitu\, komunitu nebo sociální témata.
