Fundamentals Lino cut

You don’t need to know how to draw. You don’t need to be “creative.” You just need to show up.

Linocut is one of those things that looks impressive but is secretly very doable. And cutting into the block feels so good, it’s almost suspicious. You’ll carve your design, smoosh the ink, press the paper, peel it back… and suddenly you’ve made something very cool. Something you’ll actually want to keep. New skill unlocked!
We’ll be with you the whole time. Ask a gazillion questions. Make a mess. Change your mind halfway through. That’s what workshops are for. We’re here to support you.

You’ll leave with a stack of prints, a new skill, and that very awesome feeling of: “I made this with my hands, and it looks so cool!”

What we’ll do
Design your motif (stuck? We’ll help you)
Learn to carve: tools, techniques, and very solid safety tips (seriously, even 7-year-olds have done this)
Pull as many prints as you want
Experiment with color if you feel like it
