SUMMARY:The Imperfectionists Present - Cabinet of Curiosities
DESCRIPTION:The Imperfectionists invite you to an evening of curiosities from the ends of the earth — objects with stories stranger than fiction\, histories darker than you’d expect\, and origins that raise more questions than they answer. \nWithin this interactive\, fully improvised show\, we’ll explore mysterious artifacts together: the peculiar\, the priceless\, and the possibly cursed. Who owned them? How did they travel so far from home? How many hands have touched them\, and how many of those hands met an untimely end? Each artifact will spark a cascade of improvised scenes — no script\, no plan\, just the stories that want to be told in the moment. \nCome with us on a journey through forgotten corners of history. Bring your curiosity\, your skepticism\, and maybe a little good luck charm of your own. Every show is different\, every discovery is real\, and nobody — not even us — knows quite where the night will take us.

SUMMARY:The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: Charles Augustus Milverton
DESCRIPTION:The Mad and Merry Men present the next installment in their Sherlock Holmes series in Prague! \nA man who deals in secrets. A fortune built on shame. And a client so desperate that even Sherlock Holmes hesitates. \nThis spring\, The Mad and Merry Men bring Charles Augustus Milverton to the stage — a chilling tale of blackmail\, morality\, and the price of doing what is “right.” Known as the king of blackmailers\, Milverton does not steal — he collects. Letters\, scandals\, indiscretions. And once he has them\, he never lets go.Holmes takes the case with cold determination. But this time\, the method is different. The line between justice and crime begins to blur — and for Dr. Watson\, that line still matters. \nAs the investigation deepens\, so does the divide between them. What begins as a shared mission becomes a quiet conflict of principles. Watson questions. Holmes acts. And in the presence of a man like Milverton\, even the great detective may be willing to go further than his friend can follow. \nFollowing the now sold-out successes of previous productions\, this latest chapter continues a series that has grown far beyond its origins — evolving in scale\, intensity\, and ambition\, while retaining the sharp dialogue and immediacy that define the Mad and Merry Men’s work. \nExpect tension not only between hunter and prey\, but between the two men at the heart of the legend. \n18. April20:00Divadlo D21\, Prague \nThe secrets are real. The choices are irreversible. And the game is afoot — even if it tears them apart.

SUMMARY:PERFORMANCE BUS (polem performativního umění jižní Moravy)
DESCRIPTION:~* ENG BELOW *~Dubnová série Performance Busu tentokrát vzniká v kurátorské spolupráci s Terénem scénou Centra experimentálního divadla\, a seznámí nás s pulzujícími místy a kolektivy nezávislé kultury jižní Moravy. \nSpolečně zavítáme do ateliéru SVITAVA transmedia art lab zvukového a mediálního umělce\, experimentátora\, konstruktéra a skladatele Jiřího Suchánka.Ve své tvorbě se zaměřuje na tvorbu zvukově-světelných instalací a systémů\, které jsou obvykle interaktivní a umístěné v přírodních nebo veřejných prostorech. Synesteticky kombinuje zvuk\, světlo\, objekty\, mechaniku\, elektroniku a kódování s pečlivě vybranými prostory a často zapojuje přírodní\, chaotické\, termodynamické procesy do generování nebo ovládání vznikajících hudebních a světelných vzorců. \nNaši výpravu završíme v nezávislém brněnském kulturním centru Rello koncertem a komunitní večeří. \nOběd i večeře jsou v průběhu Performance Busu zajištěny. Vezměte si s sebou prosím hotovost a svačinu na cestu autobusem. \n⋆.ೃ࿔*:･ 𝗝𝗜𝗭𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗞𝗬 𝗣𝗔𝗬 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗖𝗔𝗡 : ̗̀➛ bit.ly/performancebus-jiznimorava \nITINERÁŘ CESTY: \n➱ 8:15 sraz před Studiem ALTA \n➱ 8:30 výjezd autobusu od Studia ALTA \n➱ 11:00 Lofofora – koncert na mýtince u obce Jamné \n➱ 12:30 oběd v Bistru Zámecký mlýn v Lomnici \n➱ 13:30 Lofofora – instalace na Zámeckém mlýně v Lomnici \n➱ 16:00 performance ve veřejném prostoru Anny Wańtuch \n➱ 17:00 návštěva GaP / Galerie a Prostor Znojmo \n➱ 18:30 návštěva ateliéru Jiřího Suchánka \n➱ 20:00 Rello Brno \n➱ 23:30 návrat do Studia ALTA \nKurátorský tým: Tobiáš Nevřiva\, Orin Rodriguez\, Matyáš Dlab\, Anna Prstková a Kristýna BusinskáProdukce: Mara ŠevčíkováŘidič: Pan Marcel \nPerformance Bus je kouzelná pouť\, na kterou se vydáváme v čele s panem řidičem Marcelem už podeváté. \n*~ ENG ~* \nPERFORMANCE BUS (The Field of Performance Art of South Moravia) \nThis April edition of Performance Bus is created in curatorial collaboration with Terén – the Field for Performing Arts and introduces audiences to the vibrant spaces and collectives of independent culture in South Moravia. \nTogether with the Lofofora collective\, we will embark on a performative walk through the countryside. We will visit part of a one-day festival organized by the Brno-Zlín collective\, which works with DIY principles in unconventional festival formats. We can look forward to a collaborative concert by sound artists from the Department of Sonology in Hague and an installation by Eva Jaroňová at the Castle Mill in Lomnice. \nIn Znojmo\, we will visit GaP / Galerie a Prostor and see a performance by choreographer Anna Wańtuch\, who has been living here for a long time\, in a public space. In an improvisation inspired by Ksenia Makała‘s project Azyl\, she works with a large plastic sheet as a refuge that both protects and restricts. Choreography and everyday gestures reveal the tension between body and object and explore asylum as a relationship of care. \nWe will also step into the studioSVITAVA transmedia art lab of sound and media artist\, experimenter\, builder\, and composer Jiří Suchánek. His practice focuses on creating sound-light installations and systems\, often interactive and situated in natural or public spaces. He combines sound\, light\, objects\, mechanics\, electronics\, and coding with carefully chosen environments\, frequently incorporating natural\, chaotic\, and thermodynamic processes into the generation and control of emerging musical and light patterns. \nOur journey will conclude at the independent cultural centre Rello in Brno with a concert and a community dinner. \nLunch and dinner are provided during the Performance Bus. Please bring cash and a snack for the bus ride. \n⋆.ೃ࿔*:･ 𝗣𝗔𝗬 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗞𝗘𝗧𝗦 : ̗̀➛ bit.ly/performancebus-jiznimorava \nITINERARY: \n➱8:15 meeting in front of Studio ALTA \n➱8:30 bus departure from Studio ALTA \n➱11:00 Lofofora – concert in a clearing near the village of Jamné \n➱12:30 lunch at Bistro Zámecký mlýn in Lomnice \n➱13:30 Lofofora – installation at Zámecký mlýn in Lomnice \n➱16:00 performance in public space by Anna Wańtuch \n➱17:00 visit to GaP / Galerie a Prostor Znojmo \n➱18:30 visit to studio of Jiří Suchánek \n➱20:00 Rello Brno \n➱23:30 return to Studio ALTA \nCuratorial team: Tobiáš Nevřiva\, Orin Rodriguez\, Matyáš Dlab\, Anna Prstková and Kristýna BusinskáProduction: Mara ŠevčíkováDriver: Mr. Marcel \nPerformance Bus is a magical journey we are embarking on for the ninth time\, led by our driver Mr. Marcel. SUMMARY:Animal Farm
DESCRIPTION:Animal Farm Returns on Stage! \nThe play is based on Goerge Orwell’s 1945 novella originally published as Animal Farm: A Fairy Story. Do not be fooled by the sub-title. It is no children’s material\, its imagery is wholly bleak\, and its humour dark\, if not absent at all. The satirical fable specifically lampoons Lenin’s and Stalin’s Soviet Union and an admiration thereof in various circles in the United Kingdom. However\, Orwell’s penchant for capturing the essence of the subject matter allows for a more universal metaphor. You can pick your (least) favourite revolution that succeeded in establishing a modern dictatorship and parallels are there to be found. You may even recognize moments in the story almost as cliché\, but they will strike you all the more for their pungency\, acerbity\, and effectiveness. \nAdapted by Ian Wooldridge \nDirected by Martin Murín and Anna Jiroušková \nCast: \nSoňa Bartková\, Vasilina Pazdnikova\, Eleonora Yusupbaeva\, Martina Seidlová\, Charles Simos Zeind\, Milan Ondruch\, Omar Dahy\, Anastasia Sultangirova\, Luboš Duda\, Daria Shudrenko\, Pavla Roučková\, Aleš Gregor\, Nika Arriesgado\, Pavlína Doláková\, Lubomir Kracun\, Oleh Petrusenko\, Viktoriia Barkova \nMusic Arrangement & Vocal Coaching: \nBára Dočkalová \nSound Design: \nDavid Le Cam \nSet Design: \nMartin Murín \nCostumes: \nJulia Okhrimenko \nVisuals: \nMilan Ondruch\, Tereza Votoupalová\, Žaneta Chrobočková \nLight Design: \nPetr Taclík \nSpecial Thanks: \nBára Dočkalová\, COPRIS\, úl – DIY prostor\, Veronika Gajdošíková\, \nhttps://www.facebook.com/events/1214740887468818/?event_time_id=1214740897468817

SUMMARY:Plešatá princezna (Struny dětem)
\nPůvabný pohádkový příběh\, zpracovává námět Zlatovláska (Goldhärchen) a původní písně z pera německé autorky Leny Stein-Schneider\, která si v letech 1942 až 1945 prošla útrapami terezínského ghetta. Mladý inscenační tým stvořil poetické\, humorné\, poučné\, interaktivní\, akční a hravé divadlo v jazyce blízkém dnešnímu dětskému divákovi. \nPořadatel: Mezinárodní divadelní festival Regiony

SUMMARY:The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: The Musgrave Ritual
DESCRIPTION:The Mad and Merry Men continue their Sherlock Holmes series in Prague! \nAn inherited ceremony\, recited like nonsense. A missing employee. A puzzle hidden in plain sight… \nWhen Sir Reginald Musgrave\, Holmes’ former university professor — a man who once challenged his intellect\, shaped his thinking – now turns to his brilliant former student for help\, past and present collide\, exposing ambition\, resentment\, and a secret buried not just in history\, but in loyalty… \nThis March\, The Mad and Merry Men present a bold adaptation of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Musgrave Ritual\, proving once again why their Sherlock Holmes series has become nothing short of a phenomenon. With every 100-seat performance selling out\, the production has outgrown its experimental beginnings and established itself as one of Prague’s most compelling theatrical events. \nOver the course of this extraordinary run\, audiences have witnessed murder\, espionage\, obsession\, and revenge. Now the mystery turns inward — to legacy\, mentorship\, and the dangerous consequences of asking the right question too late.
