SUMMARY:PERFORMANCE BUS (polem performativního umění jižní Moravy)
DESCRIPTION:~* ENG BELOW *~Dubnová série Performance Busu tentokrát vzniká v kurátorské spolupráci s Terénem scénou Centra experimentálního divadla\, a seznámí nás s pulzujícími místy a kolektivy nezávislé kultury jižní Moravy. \nSpolečně zavítáme do ateliéru SVITAVA transmedia art lab zvukového a mediálního umělce\, experimentátora\, konstruktéra a skladatele Jiřího Suchánka. Synesteticky kombinuje zvuk\, světlo\, objekty\, mechaniku\, elektroniku a kódování s pečlivě vybranými prostory a často zapojuje přírodní\, chaotické\, termodynamické procesy do generování nebo ovládání vznikajících hudebních a světelných vzorců. \nNaši výpravu završíme v nezávislém brněnském kulturním centru Rello koncertem a komunitní večeří. \nOběd i večeře jsou v průběhu Performance Busu zajištěny. Vezměte si s sebou prosím hotovost a svačinu na cestu autobusem. \n⋆.ೃ࿔*:･ 𝗝𝗜𝗭𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗞𝗬 𝗣𝗔𝗬 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗖𝗔𝗡 : ̗̀➛ bit.ly/performancebus-jiznimorava \nITINERÁŘ CESTY: \n➱ 8:15 sraz před Studiem ALTA \n➱ 8:30 výjezd autobusu od Studia ALTA \n➱ 11:00 Lofofora – koncert na mýtince u obce Jamné \n➱ 12:30 oběd v Bistru Zámecký mlýn v Lomnici \n➱ 13:30 Lofofora – instalace na Zámeckém mlýně v Lomnici \n➱ 16:00 performance ve veřejném prostoru Anny Wańtuch \n➱ 17:00 návštěva GaP / Galerie a Prostor Znojmo \n➱ 18:30 návštěva ateliéru Jiřího Suchánka \n➱ 20:00 Rello Brno \n➱ 23:30 návrat do Studia ALTA \nKurátorský tým: Tobiáš Nevřiva\, Orin Rodriguez\, Matyáš Dlab\, Anna Prstková a Kristýna BusinskáProdukce: Mara ŠevčíkováŘidič: Pan Marcel \nPerformance Bus je kouzelná pouť\, na kterou se vydáváme v čele s panem řidičem Marcelem už podeváté. \n*~ ENG ~* \nPERFORMANCE BUS (The Field of Performance Art of South Moravia) \nThis April edition of Performance Bus is created in curatorial collaboration with Terén – the Field for Performing Arts and introduces audiences to the vibrant spaces and collectives of independent culture in South Moravia. \nTogether with the Lofofora collective\, we will embark on a performative walk through the countryside. We will visit part of a one-day festival organized by the Brno-Zlín collective\, which works with DIY principles in unconventional festival formats. We can look forward to a collaborative concert by sound artists from the Department of Sonology in Hague and an installation by Eva Jaroňová at the Castle Mill in Lomnice. \nIn Znojmo\, we will visit GaP / Galerie a Prostor and see a performance by choreographer Anna Wańtuch\, who has been living here for a long time\, in a public space. In an improvisation inspired by Ksenia Makała‘s project Azyl\, she works with a large plastic sheet as a refuge that both protects and restricts. Choreography and everyday gestures reveal the tension between body and object and explore asylum as a relationship of care. \nWe will also step into the studioSVITAVA transmedia art lab of sound and media artist\, experimenter\, builder\, and composer Jiří Suchánek. His practice focuses on creating sound-light installations and systems\, often interactive and situated in natural or public spaces. He combines sound\, light\, objects\, mechanics\, electronics\, and coding with carefully chosen environments\, frequently incorporating natural\, chaotic\, and thermodynamic processes into the generation and control of emerging musical and light patterns. \nOur journey will conclude at the independent cultural centre Rello in Brno with a concert and a community dinner. \nLunch and dinner are provided during the Performance Bus. Please bring cash and a snack for the bus ride. \n⋆.ೃ࿔*:･ 𝗣𝗔𝗬 𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗞𝗘𝗧𝗦 : ̗̀➛ bit.ly/performancebus-jiznimorava \nITINERARY: \n➱8:15 meeting in front of Studio ALTA \n➱8:30 bus departure from Studio ALTA \n➱11:00 Lofofora – concert in a clearing near the village of Jamné \n➱12:30 lunch at Bistro Zámecký mlýn in Lomnice \n➱13:30 Lofofora – installation at Zámecký mlýn in Lomnice \n➱16:00 performance in public space by Anna Wańtuch \n➱17:00 visit to GaP / Galerie a Prostor Znojmo \n➱18:30 visit to studio of Jiří Suchánek \n➱20:00 Rello Brno \n➱23:30 return to Studio ALTA \nCuratorial team: Tobiáš Nevřiva\, Orin Rodriguez\, Matyáš Dlab\, Anna Prstková and Kristýna BusinskáProduction: Mara ŠevčíkováDriver: Mr. Marcel \nPerformance Bus is a magical journey we are embarking on for the ninth time\, led by our driver Mr. Marcel. It is a vehicle for directing our attention toward diverse independent platforms dedicated to performance art and cultural activities unfolding across various corners — and hidden corners — of the Czech Republic. With every journey\, we aim to build new friendships\, experience adventure\, and discover singular artistic practices in places where we might not expect to find them.

SUMMARY:The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: Charles Augustus Milverton
DESCRIPTION:The Mad and Merry Men present the next installment in their Sherlock Holmes series in Prague! \nA man who deals in secrets. A fortune built on shame. And a client so desperate that even Sherlock Holmes hesitates. \nThis spring\, The Mad and Merry Men bring Charles Augustus Milverton to the stage — a chilling tale of blackmail\, morality\, and the price of doing what is “right.” Known as the king of blackmailers\, Milverton does not steal — he collects. Letters\, scandals\, indiscretions. And once he has them\, he never lets go.Holmes takes the case with cold determination. But this time\, the method is different. The line between justice and crime begins to blur — and for Dr. Watson\, that line still matters. \nAs the investigation deepens\, so does the divide between them. What begins as a shared mission becomes a quiet conflict of principles. Watson questions. Holmes acts. And in the presence of a man like Milverton\, even the great detective may be willing to go further than his friend can follow. \nFollowing the now sold-out successes of previous productions\, this latest chapter continues a series that has grown far beyond its origins — evolving in scale\, intensity\, and ambition\, while retaining the sharp dialogue and immediacy that define the Mad and Merry Men’s work. \nExpect tension not only between hunter and prey\, but between the two men at the heart of the legend. \n18. April20:00Divadlo D21\, Prague \nThe secrets are real. The choices are irreversible. And the game is afoot — even if it tears them apart.

SUMMARY:The Imperfectionists Present - Cabinet of Curiosities
DESCRIPTION:The Imperfectionists invite you to an evening of curiosities from the ends of the earth — objects with stories stranger than fiction\, histories darker than you’d expect\, and origins that raise more questions than they answer. \nWithin this interactive\, fully improvised show\, we’ll explore mysterious artifacts together: the peculiar\, the priceless\, and the possibly cursed. Who owned them? How did they travel so far from home? How many hands have touched them\, and how many of those hands met an untimely end? Each artifact will spark a cascade of improvised scenes — no script\, no plan\, just the stories that want to be told in the moment. \nCome with us on a journey through forgotten corners of history. Bring your curiosity\, your skepticism\, and maybe a little good luck charm of your own. Every show is different\, every discovery is real\, and nobody — not even us — knows quite where the night will take us.

SUMMARY:TYGROO (10 let kapely) + hosté: Omnion & Trygve Wakenshaw
DESCRIPTION:Narozeniny nejsou jen tak! A desáté už vůbec ne! A my jsme je už měli. \n📍19:00 otevření lodi Cargo gallery🔥20:00 start akce \n🎟️Předprodej: 250 Kč (1.vlna prodeje\, kapacita 50 lístků)300 Kč (2.vlna prodeje\, kapacit 300 lístků)___________________TYGROOTygroo hrají na dechové nástroje a bicí. Džungle EDM beatů\, pichlavých balkánských melodií\, sarkastického rapu a nečekaných hudebních zvratů. Trans tepe\, subbass hněte\, žestě vřeští a lidé také. Horko je v kožichu i bez něj. Koncert začal. Tygr je v džungli doma. \nTygroo kombinuje tradiční žánry (klezmer\, Balkán) s moderní elektronickou taneční hudbou (EDM\, dubstep) a hip-hopem. Nová tvorba se posunula k temnější elektronice a trapovým vlivům\, přičemž sarkastický rap reflektuje lidská provinění \nObsazení kapely:Vojta Stolbenko – bicí\, abletonŠimon Janák – tuba\, trubka\, zpěvDavid Lomič – saxofony\, akordeon\, rapMatěj Heinzl – saxofony\, klarinet\, rapLadislav Štěrba – zvuk \nhttp://tygroo.com/http://facebook.com/tygroobandhttp://instagram.com/tygroo_music \nOMNIONJednočlenný-sebesmyčkovací-orchestr Tomáše Reindla. DESCRIPTION:HrajíJonáš Sýkora\, Filip Šesták\, Patricie Urbanová\, Tereza Veselá\, Františka Brzobohatá\, Hana Tomášová \nBernardova manželka ho podvádí. Jenže Bernardovi to vůbec nevadí – Bernard má totiž plán! \nMarc Camoletti\, autor slavné komedie Boeing Boeing\, napsal i další mistrnou hru plnou záměn\, tajností a brilantních trapasů. \nMarc Camoletti jim to totiž rozhodně nenapsal jednoduše. SUMMARY:Prague Fringe: Shallowspace
DESCRIPTION:A new trans sci-fi body horror play exploring humanity’s legacy in the stars\, arriving from a rave run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. A disembodied artificially intelligent voice awakens August deep in space. In a daze\, she confronts her reality – one of the last human beings floating in the void\, guiding the archive of civilisation towards its destination in the far beyond. Frozen blood. Coolant in your veins. Every moment of human history preserved in digital hyperspace. Memories become data. Routine becomes regimen\, yet somehow\, your limbs feel… wrong? \nWith an original synthwave sound-track\, high-tech projected visuals\, and an entrancing solo performance. Blending a nostalgic and queered vision of science fiction with body horror\, Callie O’Brien’s debut one-woman play is a visceral depiction of the trans lived experience\, brimming with yearning\, spite\, and a sea of ethereal sensation.

SUMMARY:Prague Fringe: The Virgin Mother Bleeds
DESCRIPTION:Returning to Prague following a nearly sold-out run\, the newly emerging Czech playwright\, Bibiana Nesvadbová\, is back with a brand new show! She will take you on a journey through an absurdist setting\, where autonomy is waning and personal choice is merely an illusion. \nA believer and a potential mother walk into a hospital room. Debating their gripes with freedom\, or lack thereof\, they speak of faith\, men\, and liquor. The two eternally different women find the one question that connects them. If your savior never existed\, who would you worship? A pothole? \nAnd would you hold out hope that they would show? \nGrab your mother\, son\, and some spirits\, and come see the new play\, starring Bibiana Nesvadbová and Marie Měkotová. SUMMARY:Prague Fringe: Fake
DESCRIPTION:It’s pretty\, but is it art? This is a show about trickery. About fraud. About lies. Magician and storyteller Chris Cook weaves a true tale of deception\, where lives across centuries are bound together by illusion. Chris shares the story of a faker so skilled he had to forge his way to freedom\, an artist so talented he may himself be a fraud\, a magician whose promise conceals a lie\, and a mysterious figure who may not exist at all. This is a story only a magician could tell. \nFresh from its acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe run\, FAKE was named a Mervyn Stutter’s Pick of the Fringe 2025 and received critical acclaim. \n★★★★★ “It’s a history lesson\, a philosophical debate\, and a masterclass in storytelling” — Edinburgh Reviews \n★★★★★ “FAKE is the show to see” — World Magic Review \n★★★★★ “It is a true joy to watch a show that is funny and smart and self-aware as Fake undeniably is” — The Student \n★★★★ — Everything Theatre \n★★★★ — EdFringe Review \n★★★★ — Fringe Hot Takes

SUMMARY:Prague Fringe: Romeo and Juliet
DESCRIPTION:Communication breakdown affects us all. Our production of Romeo and Juliet is a modern re imagining of Shakespeare’s original classic play\, drawing out the elements of failed personal and family connections\, prejudice and devasting misunderstandings. With the introduction of elements such as AI\, modern communication technology seems to affecting the way we interact with each other: relationships become less personal and are out of our control. \nThe production will be highly physical\, with the ensemble creating the world of the play rather than relying heavily on set pieces\, and will encompass a grungy modern setting\, in a world very similar to our own.

Blending a nostalgic and queered vision of science fiction with body horror\, Callie O’Brien’s debut one-woman play is a visceral depiction of the trans lived experience\, brimming with yearning\, spite\, and a sea of ethereal sensation.
