Prague Fringe: Fake
It’s pretty, but is it art? This is a show about trickery. About fraud. About lies. Magician and storyteller Chris Cook weaves a true tale of deception, where lives across centuries are bound together by illusion. Chris shares the story of a faker so skilled he had to forge his way to freedom, an artist so talented he may himself be a fraud, a magician whose promise conceals a lie, and a mysterious figure who may not exist at all. This is a story only a magician could tell.
Fresh from its acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe run, FAKE was named a Mervyn Stutter’s Pick of the Fringe 2025 and received critical acclaim.
