DESCRIPTION:On July 3rd 2026\, Punctum presents a book launch ceremony for the dual language (Spanish & English) book La Bestia Civil : 21st Century Urban Space Epics & Rhymes by D.L. Jónsson.  \nThe epic narratives contained in La Bestia Civil explore the grit and humour of culture shock with wild tales of adventure. This is Jónsson’s third book of poetry having previously published Bands from Nowhere (I & II) and Walking On Liquid Earth.  \nThis book launch will have an element of cinema as Jónsson prefers to sing poetry accompanied by his original film work inspired by early 20th century surrealist and abstract art. \nThis event will be preceded with an ambient media installation featuring visual music\, silent film and expanded cinema works by the author.  \nFollowing this will be an intermedia performance where extracts from the book will be interwoven into a live collaborative performance featuring guest improvisers\, theatre and improvised visual mixed media. \nProgramme: \n19:00 doors\n19:10 Ambient Media Installation\n20:00 Book Launch: intermedia performance and reading by Urban Space Epics \nEntrance fee: 100kč suggested donation
