You’re invited to Word, an event celebrating the writers of Prague. This variety show offers a chance to see the kind of work being developed in Prague, and witness the creativity that can emerge from just 40 minutes of writing.
At the heart of this event is Scribbles & Giggles, a group that is hugely important to our community. It gives novices a chance to write and provides a space to explore. The group operates on the principle that something beautiful can be born from simply giving yourself the time to create. The show is being held to raise money to publish the first Scribbles & Giggles Anthology.
In addition to short stories and poetry, the evening will include other performances. You will get to see the exceptionally funny, and the well-known best English speaking improv group The Imperfectionists and hear music from the band Cúpla Focal, who are an absolute hoot.
