Creative Lab for Collective Care in Tough Times

We are inviting you to a workshop on somatic experiences of economic stress titled „Creative Lab for Collective Care in Tough Times“.

The workshop will take place on August 9th from 2PM to 5PM in the Tent of Trade Fair Palace, National Gallery Prague. The Tent is run by @krouzek.intersekce and is situated within the @biennale.matterof.art

🎀 About the workshop

Through somatic activities, participants will practice body-awareness to process the physical toll of economic stress such as nervous system exhaustion. Through arts-based tools, the group will be guided to move past scarcity mindsets and collectively imagine alternative webs of safety and mutual support.

🎀 About Poli

The workshop will be guided by Poli Antonenko, an activist and a member of the Package for Community Accountability. Poli is also a part of the Heal Your Way Forward collective and a co-founder of a anti-imperial witchcraft coven. Poli’s practice centers around the deconstruction and navigation
of nation-state borders.

🎀ACCESIBILITY 🎀

*The workshop will be held in English.
* The Trade Fair Palace premises are wheelchair accessible. There are several steps leading to the reception desk, which are supplemented by an electric platform operated by gallery staff. There are accessible restrooms in the building.
* There is a changing table in the building, and the Biennale exhibition is child-friendly.
* The event will feature: sensory toys and a quiet corner, earplugs, and face masks.
