The Mad and Merry Men present Shakespeare’s The Tempest as an immersive Experience this September!

This September, Prague audiences are invited to gather friends and family, and journey into a world of magic, music, and mystery as the Mad and Merry Men present William Shakespeare’s The Tempest.

Set on a remote island where spirits roam, storms obey a magician’s command, and old enemies are forced to confront the past, The Tempest is a tale of wonder, reconciliation, and transformation. Combining Shakespeare’s rich language with live music, dynamic ensemble performance, and immersive storytelling, this production promises an unforgettable evening – where the audiences can join William Shakespeare and his actors, as they rehearse the Bard’s last Masterpiece in their favorite tavern… And it’s a 13th century vault under the cobblestone streets of Prague’s Old Town that doubles as an Elizabethan Inn.
Complementing the action is a live musical score that draws inspiration from medieval traditions, lending the performance a timeless and enchanting atmosphere.

Featuring some of Prague’s finest actors, The Tempest continues the Mad and Merry Men’s tradition of creating theatrical events that are imaginative, accessible, and deeply engaging. As twilight falls over Prague and Prospero’s enchanted world emerges, audiences can expect an evening filled with humour, romance, spectacle, and Shakespeare’s enduring reflections on forgiveness and the power of imagination.
